Known for her uniquely fearless, intense yet sensitive artistry, cellist Seung-Min Kang made her orchestral debut with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at age eleven. Since then, she has performed with all the leading orchestras in South Korea, including the Suwon Philharmonic and Incheon Philharmonic.
As a soloist, she has appeared with the Mariinsky Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic, Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra, and the Monte Carlo Philharmonic, among many others.
She is a regular guest at prestigious festivals and venues such as the International Mariinsky Far East Festival, Philharmonie Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin, Schleswig-Holstein Festival, Ricardo Castro Festival, and the Seoul Spring Festival.
